Since opening in 2015 the YKK London Showroom, located in the heart of Shoreditch, has become a beloved source of inspiration for the future of the UK fashion industry. Visitors to 154 Commercial Street are able to speak to experts for advice, guidance, and inspiration for fastening solutions.
The Showroom encourages and enables designers to dream big and achieve their ambitions through a core understanding of the different elements required in the design process.
Window Displays
At the heart of YKK London Showroom’s activities is the celebration and showcasing of creativity. The expansive window overlooking Shoreditch High Street has featured the works of emerging designers and students, aiming to inspire both visitors and passers-by.
Within the showroom, dedicated spaces cater to various activities. These include the exhibition and championing of students and novice designers’ work, collaborative projects with experienced designers and artists, as well as special displays highlighting our range of fastening products.
Visitors will find an array of trend-focused catalogues on permanent display, providing designers with inspiration from the latest innovations, technical developments, and exciting possibilities. The exhibitions showcase a diverse collection of zippers with a strong fashion appeal and unique designs, contributing to the transformation of creative visions into reality.
