YKK AW 23/24 Collection
Green is the new black or is black the new green?
Synonymous with elegance and refinement, black has always been the undisputed protagonist of memorable images in the history of fashion.
Coco Chanel made black a style icon with her Petite Robe Noire in the 1920s. She revolutionized the dress codes of the society of the time, creating a dress for modern women. Also unforgettable was Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, whose famous little black dress, created by Givenchy, became the emblem of sophisticated and refined elegance. Black has remained among the most popular colours of contemporary designers: Gianni Versace considered it “the quintessence of simplicity and elegance” and Yves Saint Laurent declared that black “combines art and fashion” and younger generations certainly do not miss out on this.
Black is more than a colour: it is a way of dressing, a trend that is difficult to imagine going out of fashion.
With this in mind, YKK, who have always been dedicated to creating responsible solutions for the fashion world, want to make future use of this fact. Faced with the omnipresence of black, both in traditional and trendy wardrobes, YKK have focused on various ways of developing more sustainable products, optimising, thanks to monochromatic production, not only their materials, but also production processes.
Along with the demarcation of “ECO BLACK” in the AW23-24 Collection, YKK offers new solutions thanks to several innovations and improvements.
Inside this "capsule" collection you'll find:
